Spain Pilgrims cross the Quema river on their way to the village of El Rocio. The annual pilgrimage, the largest in Spain, sees devotees wearing traditional dress make their way on horseback and decorated carriages across the Andalusian countryside. The pilgrimage is held in honour of the virgin of El Rocio, and dates from the 17th century.
