Wreay, Cumbria

Woodside Lodge, built about 1880 originally as a lodge to large country house, is a Grade II listed four-bedroom house on a two-acre landscaped site. The gardens feature planted informal areas with large expanses of lawn, wooded areas with bluebells and lots of areas to sit or dine alfresco. There is a south-facing summer house at the top of the garden looking over an water-lilied pond. The large sitting room has french doors onto a terrace where there is a covered seating area with an open fireplace and there is also a year-round garden room.
