Bomza village, built in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India has joined the richest villages of Asia. In fact, the Indian Army here has taken the land of the village to start a project, so that every village has got several crores.
According to media reports, the Army wants to set up another unit of Tawang Garrison in the village of Bomza, for which the Defense Ministry paid compensation to the villagers more than one crore rupees for each family instead of land.
In return for a total of 200.056 acres, a check of Rs 40.8 crores was handed over to the 31 families of the village by the Ministry of Defense. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu gave this amount to the families.
In the account of 29 families out of 31, Rs 1.09 crore was received while one of the other two families got 2.4 crore rupees and the second family got Rs 6.7 crore.
